Overview of Online Library Services

One web page for every book ever published. It’s a lofty but achievable goal.

To build Open Library, we need hundreds of millions of book records, a wiki interface, and lots of people who are willing to contribute their time and effort to building the site.

To date, we have gathered over 20 million records from a variety of large catalogs as well as single contributions, with more on the way.


This site can be useful for all who is studying, improving and even teaching English. This is a library, which consists a huge amount of English e-books, written in a simple English language. All of books are divided by levels from elementary to advanced, so you can choose a comfortable one for you and enjoy reading!


The Library collects a variety of electronic, or non-print items, and provides access to most of this content via subscriptions.

The London Library’s new catalogue, Catalyst, will not only search for books and journals in the Library, but will also search for titles, and in many cases the content of the Library’s eJournal and database collection.
